Important!

If you are a band looking for a gig at the Malt Shovel Tavern you need to be aware that we receive dozens (if not hundreds) of requests. Please bear in mind that our Wednesday night gigs are predominantly Blues and unless your band is a Blues band you are unlikely to be selected. If you have your own website, YouTube or MySpace site where we can hear a sample of your music, please let us have link information. Alternatively, send us a short biography of the band (number of members, presence on the blues circuit etc) and a sample of your music on a CD. We cannot answer all requests but if your CD is promising we will get back to you. It may take some time and bands are booked 12 months in advance. Please advise what fee you would charge for a two-hour gig.
