Myself and Jim are both second generation Irish brought in a big Irish community in Northampton. But Irish music wasn’t my first love punk rock was my seen and then motorhead & ZZTop Jim was zepplen man and loved open air gigs. Then we grew up we’l Jim did first and was in a very well known Irish band called BANISH THE VERMIN which he was lead singer & guitarist. And myself i was messing around in bars with me banjo and then joined wait for it the NELSON MANDELA CEILI BAND yes it was a scream. After some time we broke up and reformed 2 years later at a bar session this is when Jim joined us. And people came & went in the band but me and Jim stayed with IT and changed the name to THE GERIPATRICKS
