No, not a typo, that's how the Club displays its name! The club was formed in 1996 and moved its activities to the Malt Shovel Tavern in 2008.

The club makes use of the rear bar (music area) of the pub and meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month. Because it is a members' club there is an entry fee if you want to join in the fun but this does not affect access to the rest of the pub.

The club organisers recommend that you check with them (contact details on their website) before travelling any distance just to make sure the event is taking place as scheduled.
