(No title)

After working as our chef for many years our colleague, Michelle, is moving on to pastures new. We all wish her well in her new venture. However, as a result we are now looking urgently to find a replacement. We need a competent cook but are not necessarily looking for any formal qualifications. The hours of work are 10.30 am until 2.30 pm Monday-Friday inclusive. If you are interested and think you have the requisite skills please get in touch ASAP for an informal discussion. We look forward to hearing from you.

4th-6th May 2013 – Bank Holiday

We are proud to present a

Music Extravaganza

We will be open all day on Saturday 4th, Sunday 5th and Monday 6th for a weekend of great music from some old favourites here at the Malt Shovel Tavern.

Del Bromham & Spray are back on the road. Stray still have a widespread appeal to rock
and blues audiences young and old. Have just returned from a tour of Japan.

Old favourites at the Malt Shovel Tavern, Accrington Stanley are guaranteed
to get the place buzzing. When they play EVERYBODY gets to sing along!

Laurence Jones and his Band play a blend of Blues and Rock with a groovy and catchy modern edge.
Laurence released his first professional album “Thunder In The Sky” in June 2012.

So, why not put the miserable winter well and truly behind you and come and have a
rockin’ good time with us. We look forward to seeing you.
